Industrial Minerals
A broad range of Egyptian industrial minerals and raw materials — dolomite, aggregates, quartz, phosphate rock, basalt, limestone, lime, feldspar, talc, gypsum, salt and silica sand — graded to specification for industry, construction and agriculture.

Minerals We Export

Dolomite
Calcium-magnesium carbonate — used as construction aggregate, to improve agricultural soil and as a source of magnesium.

Aggregates
Granular sand, gravel and crushed stone — the main ingredients of concrete and asphalt and base layers for roads and foundations.

Quartz
Hard crystalline silicon dioxide (SiO₂) — used in jewelry, glass-making and electronics, and a major component of granite and sand.

Phosphate Rock (P₂O₅)
Sedimentary rock rich in phosphate minerals for fertilizers. High-grade >26%, medium 17–26%, low <16% P₂O₅.

Basalt
Dark, fine-grained volcanic rock — hard and durable, widely crushed as aggregate for roads, concrete and asphalt.

Limestone
Sedimentary calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) — supplied as lumps, granules and powder.

Hydrated & Quick Lime
Quicklime (CaO) and hydrated lime Ca(OH)₂ from slaking quicklime with water — highly reactive, for construction and treatment.

Feldspar
Aluminosilicate rock-forming minerals making up ~60% of the Earth's crust — used in glass and ceramics.

Talc
A soft mineral used in plastics, rubber, ceramics, paints, cosmetics, pulp & paper and agriculture.

Raw Gypsum
Natural calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO₄·2H₂O) — for agriculture, cement retardation and food (tofu coagulant).

Salt
Edible, animal, raw, one-washed, double-washed, rock and industrial salt grades.
Silica Sand
≥95% SiO₂, <0.6% iron oxide — graded for glass, foundry, frac, filtration, construction and recreational use.
Silica Sand Grades
- Glass Sand — >99% silica with low iron for clear, strong glass
- Foundry Sand — high fusion point for metal-casting moulds and cores
- Frac Sand — durable, crush-resistant grains to prop open fractures in oil & gas wells
- Filtration Sand — uniform grain size for water and sewage treatment
- Construction Sand — for mortar, concrete and other building materials
- Recreational Sand — chosen for texture and colour for golf bunkers and sandboxes
